Mohamed El-Fatatry
Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Mohamed was behind several success stories on the Muslim Internet Scene including the renowned Social Network MuslimSpace and the Digital Halal Network (acquired by Muxlim in December 2006). Coming from a Computer Science background, he has already been called in some circles the "Linus Torvalds" of the Muslim world.
Stephen Lee
Chief Operating Officer
Stephen has co-founded and led several social media, mobile software and consulting companies. With a degree in Mechanical engineering and MBA from the Helsinki School of Economics, Steve brings to Muxlim 20+ years of experience from companies including Bosch, General Motors, and WapIt.
Ashar Saeed
Vice President, Sales & Marketing
Ashar launched his career as a Stockbroker, then diversified to become one of the pioneers of the Islamic Finance scene. He took on positions such as Senior Business Developer, Director of Corporate Relations and Director of Projects. Having held key positions in renowned organisations such as Swedbank, IslamiQ and Aon, he now heads Muxlim's global sales & marketing operations from London.
Taneli Tikka
Board Member
Taneli, a serial entrepreneur and dealmaker, has run 6 companies and
held board seats in 13. Before joining Muxlim he was CEO and a major
shareholder at IRC-Galleria (the largest social media company in Finland)
which was sold to Sulake Corporation (the company behind Habbo Hotel) in the
spring of 2007. He is also working with RunToShop & Dopplr.
Pietari Päivänen
Co-Founder & Board Member
Pietari brings to Muxlim a solid international marketing
& sales experience. His previous positions include Marketing Manager at
Mermit Business Applications Ltd., Partner at Crew Media Finland and Sales
Executive at Mirasys Ltd.
Janne Savukoski
Chief Software Architect
Janne is a technologist who previously co-founded a real-time technology company. While he is not reading the latest research papers, he's building the foundations of next generation architectures. He has been designing and implementing distributed systems for over a decade, while having dips in mobile and enterprise solutions. He holds MSc. in Computer Science from the University of Helsinki and loves his cyclocross bike.

Jussi is an avid designer of Web 2.0 services, with over 6 years of experience in pure web development. His latest creation is FeedRaider, a light-weight fully customizable RSS aggregator.
